How to import an invoice from Stripe

Updated 2026-06-07

If an invoice already lives in Stripe, you can pull it into a JupiterInvoice draft. This requires connecting Stripe first; the Stripe tab only appears once Stripe is connected.

Step 1: Connect Stripe

Connect your Stripe account under your integrations settings. Without it, the import option is hidden.

Step 2: Open the builder and the Start faster panel

Go to New Invoice and expand the Start faster bar.

Step 3: Switch to the Stripe tab

Click the Stripe tab in the pre-fill panel.

Step 4: Paste the Stripe invoice URL

Paste the Stripe dashboard URL (or a bare in_... id) into the field. Customer-facing invoice.stripe.com URLs are not accepted here.

Step 5: Pre-fill and review

Click Pre-fill from Stripe. JupiterInvoice fetches the invoice and builds a draft with the customer, line items, and memo. Review it, adjust dates and amounts, then send.
