What should a snow removal estimate include?

A snow removal estimate should state the property and areas covered, the pricing model (per-event, seasonal flat rate, or per-inch), and estimated line items for plowing, salting, and sidewalk clearing over the season, plus a validity period. Note the response trigger (for example a 2-inch threshold) and priority for contracted accounts.

How is snow removal usually priced?

Common models are per-event (a set fee each time you plow), per-inch (tiered by snowfall), or a seasonal flat rate that averages the cost across the winter. An estimate should show the model clearly so the client knows whether a heavy winter costs more, and what the trigger for service is.
