What should a catering invoice include?
A catering invoice should show the event date, the per-guest food and beverage charges with the headcount, staffing, and any rentals such as linens or glassware. Include the deposit already paid, the balance due, and terms. Reference the final confirmed headcount, since that drives the totals.
How do deposits work on a catering invoice?
Catering is usually booked with a deposit, often 50 percent, invoiced when the event is confirmed. The final invoice shows the full charges, subtracts the deposit already paid, and bills the balance. Confirm the headcount a set number of days before the event, because it changes the food and staffing lines.
Is this catering invoice template free?

What is the difference between the PDF, Excel, and Word versions?
