What is a contractor billing template?
A contractor billing template is an invoice structured for billing a job in stages rather than all at once. It shows the progress draw for the work completed, any change orders, and retainage held back, so each payment reconciles against the contract. Use it for progress or draw billing on larger jobs.
How does progress billing work for contractors?
Progress billing invoices a portion of the contract as each phase is finished, based on the schedule of values. Each draw lists the percentage complete and the amount due, minus any retainage the client holds until the project is signed off. Change orders are added as their own lines.
Is this contractor billing invoice template free?

What is the difference between the PDF, Excel, and Word versions?
