What should an HVAC invoice include?
An HVAC invoice should list the diagnostic or inspection, equipment such as a condenser or furnace with the specification, installation labor, and materials like refrigerant and line sets. Include warranty terms on equipment and labor, any maintenance-plan credit, and clear payment terms. Note the job address and your business details.
How do you show a maintenance-plan credit on an HVAC invoice?
List the credit as a negative line item so it subtracts from the subtotal and the client can see the discount they earned by being on the plan. Keep the equipment, labor, and materials as positive lines above it, so the math from subtotal to total is transparent.
Is this HVAC invoice template free?

What is the difference between the PDF, Excel, and Word versions?

Can I edit the line items and amounts?
Yes. The example content is a starting point. In the Excel file you edit the cells directly; in the live version you change every field on the invoice. Replace the sample line items with your own work.
