What should a DJ invoice include?
A DJ invoice should list the event date and hours, the services (DJ and MC time, ceremony sound, lighting), and travel or setup as separate lines. Show the deposit that reserved the date, the balance due, and your overtime rate. Clear terms and an itemized package keep the client from being surprised at the final total.
How do DJs handle deposits and overtime?
DJs usually take a deposit to reserve the date, with the balance due shortly before the event. State the deposit already paid and the balance on the invoice, and list your overtime rate (for example per half hour) so any time beyond the booked hours is billed clearly.
Is this dj invoice template free?

What is the difference between the PDF, Excel, and Word versions?

Yes. The example content is a starting point. In the Excel file you edit the cells directly; in the live version you change every field on the invoice. Replace the sample line items with your own work.
How is the live version better than a downloaded file?
